Old Spitalfields Market in in London, England
Old Spitalfields Market is located in the heart of East London and its history dates back to 1638 when King Charles gave license for food to be sold. The Victorian building has since been restored and now hosts a variety of "small producers and artisanal businesses."
I last visited in 2010 and with my most recent visit in 2017, the space has had a dramatic facelift and there are a lot of exciting new vendors. Of all London's market, this has to be my favorite one and the offerings are exquisite.
