An unassuming, tiny little spot in Bern, Einstein au Jardin offers incredible views for the price of a hot coffee or tea. My ginger lemon tea was incredibly fresh and my friend’s cappuccino was exquisitely made.

Over a million visitors see this site annually and though this attraction isn’t about glitz and fun, it offers a chance to breathe and reflect while in Lucerne.

It’s one of the best preserved defensive walls in Switzerland. Some of the towers are open and provide amazing views of the town and the lake.
