Poppie's Fish and Chips in London, England
Poppie's Fish and Chips is a staple for Britain's most famous dish consisting of fried battered fish and what we call fries. It's a common fast food or take away food in the UK. Some of the best fish and chips platters can be found in local shops, but Poppie's is a nice chain restaurant. They have a varied menu with everything from jellied eels to mushy peas to roast chicken. And of course the famous fish and chips which come in cod or haddock.
I've been to the Camden and Spitalfields location and both do not disappoint. My friend and I split the cod and haddock. If I had to choose, I think cod is preferable only because haddock is a drier fish.

Tips
The establishments ususally have seating and also take away options if it's a bit crowded. The Camden location has a more old time feel whereas the Spitalfields location was brighter with a retro American diner feel. Food is delicious either way.
