Walk in Lisbon, Portugal
Having been to San Francisco, I can see why travelers comment on the resemblance of the two cities. Both have distinct suspension brides, trams, and those rolling hills. Lisbon is actually the city of seven hills: São Roque, São Jorge, São Vicente, Santo André, Santa Catarina, Chagas and Sant'Ana. This is a lively city, with ample food to delight your palette, plentiful sights and attractions, music, culture, architecture, and so much to thrill the senses. In fairness, there is pickpocket and petty theft, and graffiti galore but the wonders outweigh all this. Be watchful and give in to the city’s secrets. The trams, funiculars, and buses will get you just about everywhere you need to go but there will be a lot of walking and there will be a lot of hills. Taxis are a good supplement and relatively affordable.
