Nyhavnskroen in Copenhagen, Denmark

The food in Copenhagen does not disappoint. We also wanted to get a taste of more traditional Danish fare and Nyhavnskroen has rave reviews, so we wanted to see what it was about. Luckily it was empty during our lunchtime, which was a weekday. We had two smørrebrød, one with egg and prawns and the other with chicken salad and bacon. We also shared one hot dish, which was the roast pork with potatoes, parsley sauce, mustard and beetroot. Overall, we loved the view from the window which looked out to the water and the food was very filling.
